We were out shooting with Denise and John this past weekend. The day started out really nice and not too hot, but by mid afternoon it was roasting! Denise had chosen 2 spots for her wedding pictures that I had never shot at before. The first spot was an old red barn, and a bridge that was used in the filming of Anne of Green Gables. I loved this spot, the barn and fields of hay worked out awesome for her pictures. She is a country girl at heart and I know she will love the pictures we shot. The second spot was a favorite of hers – York Regional Forest. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was going to do here as it is mainly hiking trails. Denise had told me way back in our initial meeting that she would do anything for pictures. I get told this a lot, but she actually came through like no other, she would do anything, including walking on hiking trails in a wedding dress, sitting on a giant bale of hay, laying down in the leaves and dirt, and even taking her shoes off to go in the stream! The shoes, by the way, are some of the best I have seen all year, take a look below at the amazing blue shoes she wore. All in all an amazing day with an amazing couple. Also I want to tell the best man he did an awesome job for a first time out at his new profession – a wedding limo driver!
